How to connect a switching power supply when DC100V is required

DC100V

Occasionally you may need DC100V. There is no DC100V output switching power supply as standard, but you can make it 100V output by connecting the power supplies in series.

For example, prepare two power supplies with DC48V output. Each 48V output is raised to 50V with a variable output voltage volume. If it is turned too much, overvoltage protection will be activated and the power output will stop. In that case, return the volume and then turn it on again.

The current value will be the smaller current value. It will never be the one with the larger current value or the sum of the two. If too much current is applied, overcurrent protection will work and the output voltage will drop.

The two units in series are as follows.
